Ever since I was young, I have been interested in exercise and positively changing the body. Sports play a big role in this: in my free time I enjoy playing all kinds of different sports and ways to improve the body. This interest grew into an enduring fascination with how the body functions; how it responds to training and treatment and how it can recover.
Within the practice, I started as a fitness coach. In that role, I learned the value of helping people build strength, mobility and confidence in their own bodies.
After completing my training as a general physical therapist, I pursued several specializations, such as shoulder diagnostics, ultrasound, dry needling, and percutaneous electrolysis. This additional knowledge and these skills enable me to examine and treat patients in a more targeted manner. I believe it is important to accurately identify the cause of a complaint, looking beyond the initial visible symptoms to determine what is actually going on. Once that is clear, I can provide targeted and effective treatment.
