Together with Raymond de Jong, I own the practice. Since 2007 I graduated as a physiotherapist after which I completed my master Sports Physiotherapy in 2014. Within our practice I am one of the ultrasound technicians, this is a nice addition to the physiotherapeutic diagnostic examination through which a diagnosis can be made with more certainty. The treatment of chronic tendon complaints can then be given a huge boost with EPTE (ultrasound-guided percutaneous electrolysis). This makes the treatment of chronic shoulder pain one of my specialties.
During my internship within the Sports Physical Therapy program, I provided guidance to (semi)professional kickboxers. Because of this, I started practicing this sport myself and later switched to Muay Thai. When I noticed what practicing the sport did to myself, I decided to use it therapeutically. This is how boxing therapy came into being.
Although my work sometimes consists of working on the square millimeter, I see the human being as a functioning whole. This is where I try to focus my treatment.
