Why Physiofitness?

A common cause of health problems is the fact that people exercise less and less. A large part of the Dutch population moves too little, sometimes even less than one hour a day. In recent years, research has made it increasingly clear that too little exercise can cause all kinds of health problems. The physical therapist is the expert par excellence to help you on your way to a more active life. In doing so, you will significantly promote your health.

Who is Physiofitness for?

The program is designed for people who want to take the step to more exercise (for example, after a period of physical complaints/injuries), but do not want to join a regular sports club and are looking for more individual guidance. For people with specific complaints we make a training program aimed at your specific goal. Also people with more sports experience can come to us since the training program is always individual.

The program

The exercise program will be created based on your individual goals and desires. Your exercise program will mostly consist of:

  • Instruction of exercises with the goal of improving your proper posture and movement. Your individual daily circumstances, such as work and hobbies, are taken into account.
  • Muscle strengthening with the goal of improving muscle endurance, muscle strength and the load-bearing capacity of tendons and ligaments.
  • Increasing overall endurance.

The program will be conducted in our spacious exercise room. On the one hand, you will perform exercises on our strength and cardio equipment. On the other hand, the strength exercises will be as functional as possible. This means, for example, that you will get exercises with loose weights, training specific movements from your daily life.

After the intake, a training program tailored to each individual's situation is created.

The training structure is formulated to provide gradual increases in load capacity.

Supervised training takes place once or twice a week in small groups. The physical therapist supervises the training and provides education to encourage an active and healthy lifestyle.

Cost

Physio-fitness is not covered by health insurance. We use the following rates.
